Kilwins Charlevoix has been serving customers outstanding confections since May 1994. Although our business is quite seasonal, we do stay open year round with shorter hours in the fall and winter months.
The City of Charlevoix sits between Lake Michigan and Round Lake, spreading out onto the shores of Lake Charlevoix. The city population is about 3,000, increasing to an estimated 30,000 in the summer.
In addition to natural attractions, the area is noted for excellent shopping, dining, and special events which take place throughout the year. Charlevoix is a haven for artists and crafters.
Kilwins Charlevoix is an ice cream lover’s paradise with 46 Original Recipe Ice Cream flavors to choose from. Fudge is made fresh daily in the summer months. Our signature Caramel Apples are a year-round treat and the specialty apples we make for art shows in the park, are a work of art themselves.
Our fresh-squeezed fruit drinks are outstanding and refreshing on a hot summer day.
Hot and cold coffee beverages, such as mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, and iced mochas and lattes, as well as Drinking Chocolate and Hot Chocolate, are also available.
Also made-in-store are nut Brittle, Caramel Corn, and many other Chocolate-Dipped treats.
Charlevoix is also home to Castle Farms, which hosts as many as 50 weddings a month in the summer. We offer many custom favors for weddings and holiday parties. Ice cream Sundae Bars are a hit at these events as well as trays of various Chocolate-Dipped treats and fruits.
